Siding gun gets thumbs up in New England Jul 05, 2001
By DragonFly This gun is a work horse. I've used one of these guns for five years, and it's only needed to have its seals changed once. This gun has gone through sun, rain, mud, and snow. It is light, easy to reload, and nail placement is easy to locate. I've used this nailer on cedar and masonite siding, as well as cedar shingles and douglas fir decking. The only thing that I can comment on the negative is that the plastic links on the coils are very tempermental in the cold. The plastic links tend to break in freezing conditions (32 degrees or below). Otherwise a great gun.
