These batteries even brand new, need to be near complete discharge before recharging. The cycle life of these batteries are not as reliable as Lithium technology. For about a hundred bucks shipped, I would be looking at
another system. Hitachi tools are well made, but the batteries are expensive for the life they have(charge cycles).
