Sometimes you just have to have faith that things will preform as stated. I debated spending the money on this saw blade. But after spending so much extra time filing down the cuts I'd made on some 1/8" aluminum headrails with the wrong type of blade; I wished known sooner how clean cut this 60 tooth non-ferrous blade actually made. No extra filing or smoothing of the edges. The headrails are somewhat intricate and plastic parts have to insert into channels and pockets. Perfectly clean cuts. I tried to find someone comments in a blog that explained this type of blade and what it could do. I never found one. I hope this short review helps someone else that may be wondering if this type of blade works well and is worth the price. It was for me!

This product is excellent. The Hitachi Combination Mitre saw is difficult when it comes to finding saw blades that properly fit it. This blade was used to cut composite trim boards and performed flawlessly....

The Hitachi 998864 8 1/2-Inch Blade For NonFerrous Metals 60 Tooth did not come in the properly marked package. A 998840 24 tooth ATB rip/crosscut blade did instead. I again ordered the same blade (knowing Amazon would not believe me)from another company with which I do business, and, the same packaging error happened. Fortunately they got in touch with Hitachi and corrected the error.

I ordered this saw blade too, and when my package finally arrived I discovered that I had received a pressure washer nozzle???? I returned the item to Amazon warehouse deals and still have not received a credit!
