This is an excellent blade for aluminum and plastics. It produces exceptionally smooth cuts in extruded and bar stock, and chip and heat free cuts in 1/2 inch Lucite. An excellent value.

Used to cut a number of aluminum tubes, cuts with minimum effort. Holds up to weekly use on extrusions, why pay more?

Using a sliding miter saw, I cut an aluminum extrusion with a rolled up door screen inside. This blade cut cleanly through the assembly.

So far, I've only used this blade once to cut an aluminum pipe with 1/8 inch wall thickness. I was really surprised to find that there were no burrs or anything that needed to be trimmed off. I am looking forward to many more easy cuts in the future.
