Not a Hitachi Brand Dec 27, 2010
By Kyle Franz When i received this product in the mail i was surprised to find that it was not in any packaging and it was not Hitachi Branded. This, of course, leads me to believe that it's a cheap imitation made from china. I'm dissapointed that the product is advertised as being in the packaging and branded when it's actually not.
Handy Sep 01, 2010
By M. Mullett I've owned other branded versions of this in the past, and they've all worn out. This one is very solid and should last for several years. Does add quite a bit of length to the drill, but thats to be expected. Also, the set screws holding everything in place come loose very frequently and I'll lose the bit in a fresh drilled screw, but just a minor annoyance. If I didn't have to switch between star drive and phillips head I'd probably just glue one or the other in the holder. Worth the price.
Same as Makita Quad Driver Apr 19, 2010
By Jason Benyeda I purchased this along with a Makita Quad Driver set and was surprised to find they are the EXACT same product. The only difference between them is the name on the collar and that the Makita set contains several additional bits(and costs a lot more). In terms of tool performance, it works well and I prefer it to the DeWalt Drill-n-Drive I have used for several years.
