Great Blade at an unbelievable price Jun 19, 2006

I am a trim carpenter and have tried all the blades that are out there. I have always come to rely on Frued blades as the best value for the dollar. But that may have changed. This is my second Hitachi blade, and I can't say enough about it. I mainly use 12" sliding miter saws and have had problems with blade deflection. With this blade no such problem exists.

By Mark E. Ludlow This is a very good blade. It cuts with so little effort that it is nearly noiseless. Plus, you can almost see your reflection on the surface of crosscuts and there's very little tear-out on the backside of the cut, even without a backing board.
I took a chance on this blade but now I would not buy anything else for my Dewalt mitre saw. Great value!

Fantastic Miter Saw Blade Jul 12, 2007

I replaced the OEM blade that came on my Dewalt DW718 miter saw, which was a pretty poor blade. This blade is marketed as thin kerf, but it was significantly thicker than the OEM blade. In fact, the OEM blade would 'sing' quite a bit while this blade is dead quiet in comparison. My first few cuts with the Hitachi blade proved it to cut plywood with very little tear out. I'm very satisfied, especially at a $40 price point. This blade makes glue-up quality cuts equal to my Woodworker II blade on my table saw for much less $$$.

Best blade, best value Jun 26, 2008
By Randall Borst I have used this blade on my Hitachi C12LCH miter saw for about ten months. When the saw was new and equipped with the factory blade I couldn't believe how poorly the saw cut. When I replaced the factory blade with Hitachi 90 tooth blade the difference was like night and day. For $45 I felt like I bought a new saw.
In my view this is the hands down winner for value in a 12-inch chop saw blade. It doesn't flex when cutting, doesn't sing on the saw and produces cuts so smooth the cut surface looks like its been finish sanded with no tear out. Really an outstanding product at any price but for $45 it just can't be beat.
I use this blade for finish carpentry and cabinet building. I am usually cutting oak, cedar, poplar, pine, maple and occasionally plywood. The blade has never been sharpened since I installed it and shows no signs of dulling yet.

Used on Big Trim Job Sep 25, 2007

"KY REMODELER"
Bought this blade last month for big trim job. 1200' of (6"base-all bevel cuts) and 960' of custom casing and sills. Cut like butter from beginning to end of job. Never a chip, splinter or ragged end. Never sanded a single joint! This blade delivers.
