Quality Blade Jun 27, 2008
By M. Koverdan Quality blade made in France. Should be standard with Hitachi 12" miter saws but unfortunately mine came with a 32 tooth piece of garbage. Actually came missing teeth as well. Hitachi took care of the problem to my satisfaction though. This blade seems to be pretty quiet and cross-cuts very well. Pretty smooth cuts but not as narrow as the original blade even though it is a narrow kerf blade. So far no complaints.
Best 12" blade I've used Aug 18, 2011
By Steve A. Sosa
"Survival Horror Junkie"
I've been using one of these for everything from crown molding and other finish trim to framing, pvc pipe, and aluminum moldings, and it's stayed sharp and given outstanding quality cuts for over 2 years now. I've even screwed up and hit the odd nail here and there when reusing some of the original trim in my 100 year-old house, and it's had no impact on cut quality. I tried an 80 tooth Freud for cutting various wood moldings for a while and switched back to this blade, which produces superior cuts. I like that it has a thicker plate than the other 12" blades I've tried -gives it extra stability.Try it -I guarantee you'll be impressed with the excellence of this blade! I'd give it 6 stars if that were an option and I'll definitely be getting a spare. Note -I worked in the tool industry for 10 years and I'm not easily impressed with a sub-$60 blade, but this one is outstanding.
Great Blade Apr 14, 2011
By Faithwalker Even in commercial use, this blade has held up remarkably. We thought we may go through a few of them but just one has done superbly [and still going strong]. We're a new Hitachi commercial tool fan-group.
