Little long but worth the price Apr 29, 2009
By lilcritchy Hose is a little long but totally worth it. I know when I need the total 100' its going to be worth its weight in gold. This hose you can whip the whole 100' virtually. Definitely buy this product. Don't buy the cheap ones at Home Depot this is made by Hitachi and is a great buy. Coils up great and doesn't get kinks or knots very often. The price of the 100'from Amazon is the same price as the Hitachi 50' in the stores. Amazon has the best price.

"kinky" but functional Aug 19, 2009
By L.V. Snyder I guess I shouldn't complain ('cause it's plenty functional), but it seems like I spend more time unwinding the hose than using it. It does tend to kink pretty badly as you attempt to lay it out. I think this is probably a characteristics of the polyurethane hose. It does work, however, and it's nice not having to drag my compressor around.
hitachi 19413qp air hose Dec 14, 2011
By nailman This hose does the job but it still tangles up,not as bad a tangle as the rubber hose Ill give it a 6 on a scale of 10
Great Performance, But Fragile! Dec 02, 2010
By Jennifer R. Scott
"Jen Scott"
We have two of these. They were great. They were flexible, and didn't have a memory, and didn't get tangled much. We've noticed one started leaking a tiny bit. Then the other. Then they both got multiple leaks. Now we can't use them. It appears these hoses can't be dragged over stuff on the jobsite like the rubber ones can. They get abraded and develop tiny cracks and punctures easily. I wouldn't recommend these. Get the Goodyear rubber hoses, instead. They're heavier, but let more air flow, and they're also excellent performers. No memory, kinks or tangles, and they're awesomely flexible in cold weather, too!
Buy Flexeel Jul 28, 2010
By Bob I bought this to replace a ten year old Flexeel hose that had developed some pinholes in the last 30 or 40 feet because it was cheaper and had the Hitachi name on it. But it was too stiff and got caught on everything. I ended up fighting it a lot. Finally I paid more and got another Flexeel 100 footer. Hitachi needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. While my early 90's NR83 nailgun is still going strong - I've only replaced a couple of drivers and only recently had to rebuild the cylinder - unfortunately this hose isn't in the same category.
